Excellant service at 03:45hrs in the morning, great selection of wine, chamapge, spirits, soft drinks, beers and hot drinks. Nice to see happy welcoming face so early in the morning. Food also excellent and very clean 😀😀😀🥰
Travelling solo I usually like to use the airport lounges, i don’t find them much more expensive than purchasing a meal and a drink in one of the many restaurants. I’ve used both the Aspire and Escape lounge previously so this time around I opted for the 1903. First impressions was that is was really quiet and peaceful in contrast to the other lounge which I walked through to access it. I was greeted at the door by a very helpful staff member. I had no problem finding a table, so I left my bags etc; and went to the buffet area. I was impressed with the choice, quality and freshness of the options available. There were two well stocked drinks counters, which had something to suit all tastes. Not being a big drinker I was happy to see some alcohol free options including a very nice 0% gin. All the drinks were premium brands. All in all I was mostly happy with my visit, my only minor quibble was that the staff were a little too efficient in clearing the tables. I had to leave the table to go back to the buffet for some butter and when I returned to my table the salad that I hadn’t finished had been cleared away, it was obvious that I hadn’t actually finished eating at this point. As I said this was only a minor negative point. I would highly recommend for anyone to use this lounge, a lovely relaxing oasis in the midst of a very busy airport.
