1903 Lounges

Lovely lounge, clean, good service. Welcoming, food options great but not for hot food, gluten free, one hot dish, tofu ramen but it was good to be fair. Salads etc great. Pork was excellent according to my husband. Drink options very good and regularly stocked. Staff attentive but need a little more finesse, Would come back though, thank you.

Easy to find the lounge. But make sure you check in a the desk, or you will get shouted back. Not clear enough if you’ve never been before. Nice and clean inside. Not a great choice of hot food, though what we did have was delicious, small portions but you can have as many as you want. Decent choice of other foods, desserts, crisps breads etc, always topped up. But the best thing about it was the choice of drinks, non and alcoholic drinks. Champagne, baileys and soft drinks. Overall a nice treat before you fly

First time flying and the experience of the lounge was amazing! Jane at the front desk couldn’t have been more amazing! She was absolutely lovely and helped us out massively

I was welcomed very warmly when I arrived. I travel solo a lot, so this is always appreciated. I had a long, early flight with Etihad to Phuket (via Abu D), so I needed to relax and eat some good food. I was surprised at how nice this lounge was. I have been in other lounges in Manchester Airport and they were too busy and overcrowded. This 1903 lounge felt like a proper lounge to chill in. Well done Etihad for choosing this. The breakfast buffet is relatively small -- but the staff do stress on arrival that you can order any dish through the chef, so I ordered soft poached eggs and smashed avocado. Gorgeous! Food presentation was excellent and the quality was faultless. Well done, chefs! The variety of drinks was amazing, alcohol or soft drinks freely available and nicely chilled. Even the hot drinks from the machine were lovely. I recently buried my mum (just days before, after a long illness) and was flying to Thailand for a much needed break, so the warmth of the staff, esp Reena and the gentleman on reception was so welcome and made a massive difference to the start of my holiday. The gentleman on reception ensured that I was informed of my gate and departure in good time. Appreciated. Note that you should make sure you are heading to the right lounge before you try to enter; if you end up in the wrong lounge with no invitation, esp if you are a group, it affects the other guests and staff. Please be considerate and check your ticket. Thank you again for a lovely start to my holidays in Thailand.
